Privacy

Last updated 17 October 2026. This policy covers ventriculus.org and its subdomains, including ecg.ventriculus.org.

Who is responsible

Ventriculus is run by Berke Cenktug Korucu, MD, who decides how the data described here is used.

Analytics (only with your consent)

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and see which lessons and tools are used. These cookies are set only after you click “Accept analytics”. Until then, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage switched off. We never use advertising cookies and we do not sell data. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page; your choice is stored in a cookie named vx_consent for 12 months.

Learning progress

The ECG atlas saves your post-test results only in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

Evaluation forms

If you send a course evaluation, its answers (chapter, ratings and free-text comments) are stored by our host, Netlify, and read by the author to improve the course. The form does not ask for your name or email; please do not include personal or patient information in comments.

Accounts

Some Ventriculus tools (such as the simulator) need a free account. Those tools explain what they store when you sign up.

Hosting

The sites are hosted by Netlify, which processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages securely.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Turkey’s KVKK), you may ask to access, correct or delete data about you, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

Medical disclaimer

Ventriculus is for education only and is not a substitute for clinical judgement.
